The Life Youth Café is a place where youth can talk about tough issues on holy grounds. Conversations center around holy scripture, Bible study, and asking tough questions that lead to transformation and better decision making. Food will be served and yes, it is for free. In addition to conversation, the youth café will offer computer lab opportunities, homework assistance and tutoring, mentoring, leadership development. The ages are for middle school to high school. In addition, in the summer months, the youth café will be open from 9:00 pm to 1 am every fourth or fifth Friday. Drop in with friends and buy food and soft drinks and use free Wi-Fi, explore the Bible, play on the Nintendo-Wii or just hang out in the chill zone. The Sunshine Band is the group of youths of the church, in the formative years, through the age of 12 years, which has the mission to build, teach, promote, and to direct the youths of this age group. The age breakdown is as follows: 2 and under are called 'Future Sunbeams,' 2 thru 6 are called 'Sunbeams,' 7 thru 9 are called 'Sunrays,' and 10 thru 12 are called 'Illuminators.' The Sunshine Band is a function of the Women's Department.
