The mission of the College Ministry is to focus on the college students who attend New Life Community COGIC while pursuing their educational goals. The aim is to keep the student member focused on his or her commitment to God, while at the same time achieving academic excellence. This ministry was birthed by First Lady Evelyn Smith.
The aim of the college ministry at New Life Community COGIC is to keep the student member focused on his or her commitment to God, while at the same time achieving academic excellence. We want to provide a positive environment where students can achieve scholastic success while learning to grow spiritually in their walk with Christ, equipping them for a life time of growth and service in the world. We maintain contact with college students on a regular basis via email, text, letters and post cards. Students also are provided care packages and small stipends to help assist in furthering their education.Students are also provided a DVD of weekly sermons. It is our prayer students will be able to watch New Life Services from their college dorm room via live stream. This ministry was birthed by First Lady Evelyn Smith.
To purpose of Sunday School is to assist in the growth of the kingdom of God by personal effort in individual soul winning, to teach God's Word as the answer to man's problems today, and to teach members to apply the proper teachings of God's Word to their everyday living. It is a work right at the focal point of the Great Commission and right at the heart; of our growing church. The Sunday School is the most vital arm of classroom Bible teaching for the church and aims to instruct all personnel in the truths of the Word of God. Ages are from the cradle to adult – that includes children/students with disabilities.A team of biblical scholars, learned of the precepts and principles walk new and seasoned saints through the foundational truths of our faith.

The Vacation Bible School is a special week set aside annually by the Sunday School Department to gatherpeople from the church and the community in sharing and learning more about the Lord and His works in a corporate atmosphere. Whether a member of New Life or the local community, your child can have fun walking through the books of the Bible, while enjoying games and fun activities.
